Support Staff

The Alpine Clinic support staff is comprised of committed individuals with a variety of educational backgrounds and experiences that collaborate with a shared vision of ensuring the highest quality service and care to our patients. Responsibilities of theses staff members include scheduling daily appointments, answering phone calls and messages, pre-authorizing and scheduling of radiology appointments and surgeries, patient registration and billing, as well as various other tasks or projects within each of our offices.

Staff Bios

Michelle K. Daigneault: Office Manager, Plymouth
Michelle joined our support staff team in November of 2008 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Program Administration and a minor in Business Administration. In addition to the daily responsibilities of managing an office, Michelle also deals with various other projects including assisting with research and coordinating travel plans for lectures and book publicity events, allowing her to collaborate her knowledge of program development with the medical field.

Michelle is the oldest of three children. She loves to spend time with her family, friends, and new kitten “Bello” in her free time. When not at work she also enjoys being out on the lake, reading, and traveling. She participates in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program of the Greater Seacoast which keeps her very busy as well.

Brittany (Britt) Southworth, LNA: Executive Assistant to Dr. Chen
Brittany is currently working full time in the Franconia office assisting with front office duties and scheduling for Dr. Chen. She has been with The Alpine Clinic since it’s opening in 2007.

Brittany currently lives in Lincoln, NH with a college roommate. She comes from a very large family with 8 siblings. Brittany is currently attending college to earn her Bachelors in Health Science. She likes to spend time outdoors with her friends.

Karen Lucas, RN: Nurse Manager/Scheduling, Franconia
Karen brings over 25 years of nursing experience to The Alpine Clinic, and has been associated with Dr. Chen since he started practice in New Hampshire. She is a graduate of both Quinnipiac University and Mattatuck Community College in Connecticut. An active community volunteer, she has served as vice president of Hospice of the Littleton Area and coordinated area Red Cross blood drives for several years.

Her interests are gardening and needlework. She and her husband currently share their household with two dogs and a cat.

Brianna (Bri) Lui: Office Staff, Franconia
Brianna is a recent graduate from Quinnipiac University where she obtained her B.S in Biomedical science with minors in Chemistry and Molecular Microbiology. She hopes to continue her education in the fall of 2010 with graduate studies to become a Physical Therapist.

Bri is currently living in North Woodstock, NH, but was born and raised in Manchester. Although she ski raced in high school and independently in college, she still has a passion for the sport. She also participates on an Ultimate Frisbee team and enjoys running, cycling, hiking, swimming and traveling.

Lisa McHugh: Office Staff, Woodsville
Lisa currently works in our Woodsville and Franconia offices. She is a licensed nursing assistant and also has a B.A. in behavioral sciences. Lisa enjoys working with patients of The Alpine Clinic while assisting with administrative and clinical duties.
Lisa loves spending time with her 3 children and enjoys swimming, camping, and reading.

Barbara Young: Office Staff, Woodsville/Franconia
While attending school in Rhode Island, Barbara obtained her certification as a Hospital Laboratory Technician. She has recently joined the office staff at The Alpine Clinic and is very excited to be a part of a growing practice.

Debby George, LNA: Rehab Aide / Office Staff, Alpine Physical Therapy
Debby is the glue that keeps the Alpine Clinic Physical Therapy department together and the gas that keeps it running. She wears many hats throughout the day, but mostly enjoys working with people.

Debby resides in Woodsville, NH with her husband. In her free time Debby enjoys quilting, baking, and spending time with her family.

Krista Maynes: Office Staff, Alpine Physical Therapy
Krista recently graduated from Littleton High School and plans to attend the University of New England in Biddeford, ME in the fall with a major in Medical Biology & Physical Therapy.

She enjoys spending time with friends and family, riding motorcycles, and camping. She has a love for music and reading, and thoroughly enjoys being around people and working with Alpine Physical Therapy patients.

Cyndi Keller: Transcription
Cyndi is currently the sole transcriptionist for The Alpine Clinic and has been with us since our opening in 2007. She has her associate’s degree in Secretarial Science and Accounting.

Cyndi resides in Bethlehem with her husband Doug. Together they have two children- daughter Amy who is 23 and son, Hunter, who is 10. When Cyndi is not busy typing away at her computer, she enjoys spending time her husband camping and watching/attending NASCAR racing.
