Staff Bios

Jessica Lorenz-Armstrong, P.A.-C

Jessica Lorenz-Armstrong is a Certified Physician Assistant. As an undergraduate, she studied medical biology at the University of New England and later obtained her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Notre Dame College. As a collegiate swimmer and former member of the United States Swim Team, Jessica is familiar with the pressures that athletes face, and is well versed in the diagnosis and treatment of sports medicine injuries. As a mid level provider, Jessica manages and treats orthopaedic patients both pre and post- operatively. She also orders and interprets labs, x-rays, MRI’s, CT’s, and other diagnostic tests. She is an assistant to Dr. Chen in the operating room as well as with inpatient care. Jessica has been with The Alpine Clinic since it’s opening in September 2007. She works out of the Littleton office.

Jessica lives in Twin Mountain, NH with her husband and 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, swimming, boating, and playing with her children.

Holly D. Blodgett MS, NP-C

Holly Blodgett is a Family Nurse Practitioner who obtained her Master’s Degree at the University of New Hampshire and Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to that, Holly had several years of experience in the Operating Room Theatre including heading a Neuro-surgical team at a level II trauma center in Southern New Hampshire. Over the past 5+ years her time and energy has been specialized within Orthopedics. She manages operative and non-operative fractures, traumatic wounds, conservative care of common orthopedic diagnosis, joint injections/aspirations, assists in complex surgical procedures, spine surgery, joint replacement surgery and provides education to patients and families.

Holly was one of three children in her family. She now lives with her two cats and 2 dogs. When not working diligently she enjoys many outdoor activities including running, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and kayaking. She also loves to read, garden, and bake in her free time. Holly is an avid athlete and was a member of NH All-State Basketball Team as well as playing field hockey and softball. Being physically fit and active is a priority for this high energy provider and she relates well with student and adult athletes.

Jason Raehl, P.A.-C
The Alpine Clinic is proud to welcome their new Mid-Level Provider, Jason “Jay” Raehl. Jay grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended the University of Mighican where he studied Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences.  Before attending PA school, Jay  worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant in a rehabilitation hospital on a pediatric, spine injury, brain injury, & stroke floor.  He then decided to to further his education by attending the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Manchester, NH for PA school.  He did his clinical rotation at The Alpine Clinic & then began working full time for the clinic shortly after graduation. 
As a mid level provider, Jay manages and treats orthopaedic patients both pre and post- operatively. He also orders and interprets labs, x-rays, MRI’s, CT’s, and other diagnostic tests. Jay is an assistant to both Dr. Chen and Dr. O’Neill  in the operating room as well as with inpatient care.

Jay relocated to Littleton, NH after graduation from PA school. In his free time, you will find him running, snow/water skiing, biking, hiking, and fishing.

Joe  Prescott, P.A.-C
Joe is the newest member to join The Alpine Clinic team of providers. He will be working along side Dr. Dougald MacArthur and will begin to see patients on May 3rd 2010. Please contact the Woodsville office for scheduling information: 603.747.3668.
