Welcome To The Alpine Clinic
The Alpine Clinic came into being with the
confluence of three practices in Northern New
Hampshire: Dr. Daniel F. O’Neill from the Lakes
Region, Dr. Dougald MacArthur from Woodsville, and
Dr. Andrew Chen from Littleton. By joining
together we believe we deliver the best in 21st
century holistic orthopaedic care to the North
Country and beyond. Our five locations:
Littleton, Holderness, Woodsville, and North Conway,
plus surgical services in Berlin, allows easy access
for all of your orthopaedic, sports medicine, and
sports psychology needs. Also in the works is
a state-of-the-art facility in Franconia, NH.
Our expertise runs the gamut from arthroscopic knee
and shoulder surgery to gender specific total joint
replacement to sport psychology. The Alpine Clinic
uses the latest medical technologies to provide care
to each individual according to their needs.
Whether it means returning to work, sports, or
simply caring for your family, we will do everything
in our power, just as we know you will do everything
in your power, to get you back even better than
before! Our goal is to match The Alpine Clinic’s
team efforts with the patient’s team efforts.
The Alpine Clinic aspires not just to being the best
in medical and surgical treatment, but we are also
dedicated to clinical research. Towards this
end, we will sometimes ask our patients to
participate in studies by answering questionnaires
before or at the time of your appointment, and
periodically during your care. This
confidential information will be used to monitor how
well you are responding to the treatments ordered as
well as improving care for future generations.
Although we have over fifty years and thousands of
operations in our experience, none of it matters
unless you are getting better and moving toward your
goal of full activity. Many of the Alpine Clinic
patients are from areas other than northern New
Hampshire. Because of our detailed rehabilitation
programs, relationships with multiple physical
therapy clinics, and a soon to be published trade
publication available in bookstores nationwide, it
has never been an issue to give out of town patients
the care they deserve. Distance should not be a
factor in getting the best orthopaedic care
available!
